The Annual General Meeting of the Federation took place on Wednesday evening (26th April) at Langtree SMBC.  Key  items included the adoption of the updated Constitution and some changes to the Committee following the death of our Treasurer, Colin Lambert, earlier this year.  Brian Cunnold was elected Treasurer and Bill Poppleton Secretary - other Officers were re-elected.  Two Committee members stood for re-election, Ann Banner and Jan Ovenden and they were elected unopposed.  


A Yarnscombe Triple of Graham James, Mike Avery and Elliot James won this years trophy at Winkleigh SMBC on 4th April. The losing finalists from Woolsery were Lorraine Grigg, John Crossman and Gordon Leonard.

Winkleigh win for the First Time

The Yarnscombe domination of this competition came to an end at High Bickington SMBC this year.

Having won this trophy for 9 consecutive seasons they lost out this year to Winkleigh in the Final held on 3rd April.

Yarnscombe retained the Tony Stephens Trophy by 37 shots to 25 against Wick on 8th March at Parkham SMBC.  On one mat a very close game resulted in Wick winning by a single shot (16 shots to 15).  On the other mat Yarnscombe pulled away steadily after a a number of close ends early in the game, to win by 22 shots to 9.
